Sacramento 2026 Free Museum Weekend

The Gorman Museum of Native American Art will be tabling at the 2026 Free Museum Weekend at the State Indian Museum in Sacramento on Saturday, March 7.  We will be sharing information about the museum, exhibitions, and upcoming events!  Stop by and visit.

2026 marks the 28th consecutive year that the Sacramento Area Museum (SAM) community has presented a free museum experience. Like past years, this popular community event is free to the public but requires advance registration. Registration for tickets will open on Monday, March 2nd, at 9 AM, with 1,500 available between the State Indian Museum and Sutter Fort each day.
