Git Hayetsk Dancers

Join us in welcoming the Git Hayetsk Dancers to the C.N. Gorman Museum!

Led in partnership by Mike and Mique'l Dangeli Git Hayetsk is an internationally renowned West Coast First Nations mask-dancing group based in Vancouver, BC.  They are bonded by their connections to the Nisga'a, Tsimshian, and Gitxsan Nations with family ties to the Haida, Haisla, Tahitan, Tlingit, and Musqueam. With deep love and respect for their communities, Git Hayetsk shares the songs and dances of their ancestors and creates new ones to reflect and record their experiences as First Nations people today.
