We invite you to the closing reception of 50th Anniversary Contemporary California Native Art, our inaugural exhibition in the new building. Join us to hear from two celebrated California Native artists. Lyn Risling (Karuk, Yurok and Hupa) is a painter who expresses her perspective on cultural continuum through traditional and contemporary experiences. Gerald Clarke (Cahuilla) works in diverse media from sculpture and painting to performance, and he is interested in how his personal perspective can engage those who view his work.
The reception will follow the artist talks.
The event is free. Parking in the museum lot is free on weekends.
