Tina Linville, Like Wings

Tina Linville received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of Washington and her MFA in Fibers from California State University, Long Beach. Her sculptures, installations, and collaborative projects have been featured in exhibitions by the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Jason Vass Gallery, the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation and Craft in America, Torrance Art Museum, 18th Street Art Center, and Mains D’Oeuvres in Paris, France. She has earned several awards for her work, including the Distinguished Achievement in Creative Activity from CSULB in 2013. Tina is the co-founder and managing director of Painting and Sculpture Outpost, an artist run space in Marysville, California. This summer, Painting and Sculpture is launching an Art Mentorship Program created to provide artistic development and support to Yuba and Sutter county artists with financial support provided by Yuba Sutter Arts and the California Arts Council. Tina lives and works in Marysville, California.
