Biography
Thomas Adams was a Haida artist born in Old Massett on November 24, 1938 and passed away October 26, 2004. His father was the hereditary Chief Gala of Old Massett Oliver Adams and his mother was Dora, a granddaughter of Charles Edenshaw. He spent most of his life fishing along the coast of British Columbia and took up carving gold and silver as a winter hobby. He was well known for his ability to tell a good story and his wonder sense of humor. His limited edition silk screen prints were inspired from the creatures of nature and represent his own interpretations of these.
