Biography
Noganosh was born in 1949 in the Magnetawan Reserve in Ontario, Canada. He received his Bachelor of Fine arts from the University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, Canada. He also received a diploma in graphic design from George Brown College from Toronto, Canada. His work media include but are not limited to paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, and installations. His work has been exhibited in museums throughout the world which include: Canada, Russia, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and the United States. In 2008 Noganosh work was recognized through the Premier’s award for excellence in Ontario, Canada. In his art Noganosh explores identity and looks at contemporary issues that First Nations face. He currently resides in Ottawa, Canada.
