Michael Conners, Blackbird

Michael Connors has been teaching Printmaking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 1998, when he founded the Digital Printmaking Center as part of the Madison Printmaking Program. His primary interest as an artist and educator has been to explore ways in which new technologies can be integrated with traditional printmaking techniques. Connors has served on the Southern Graphics Council Board, was a former editor of Graphic Impressions, and coordinated the SGC International conference in Madison in 2005. His work has been shown nationally and internationally in exhibitions and print exchanges
