Lynda Osage grew up on the plains of northeastern Oklahoma near the city of Pawhuska. At an early age she became concerned with the loss of her ancestral culture. In using her artistic interputation she has maintained the traditional characteristics of distinctive features of the Osage tribe.
Southwest Indian pottery is one of the most popular forms of pottery in the world. It has obtained as prominent distinction, because of the traditional Indian designs and hand-painted, earth tone colors. Each piece is conceived, design, handpainted and signed in limited quantity by Linda Osage. Several of these pieces have her signature with the word "original", all pieces are signed.
