Lupe B. Tenorio, Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo), was the mother of Emiliano Tenorio, grandmother of Vicky T. Calabaza and great aunt of Robert Tenorio. She shared her knowledge with her granddaughter and her great nephew, and, according to Robert Tenorio, she was his mentor. He said she showed him how she laid out the large flower design.
