Biography
Danny Padilla, who signed "The Laguna Kid" was the son of Gladys Paquin, a well known Laguna potter, and Andy Padilla from Santa Clara. Danny worked in the Santa Clara style, and was becoming a very good potter when he suddenly died at a relatively young age, so his pottery isn't easy to find. Danny Padilla is listed in Schaaf's "Southern Pueblo Pottery," where it states he exhibited at Indian Market in Santa Fe from 1985 to 1988.
