Memo / Artist Statement
The katsina appears in a regular kachina dance with Alo Mana and is often called the Hunter Katsina. The personation "Kwacus Alek Taka" means "eagle feathers erect man", a descriptive term for Kahaila. (Wright 1973: 185)
