The work 'people/place/memory' is a part of the Imagined Place Map Portfolio. Our Imagined place is always in the state of flux. The work explores a continuum of cross-cultural negotiation of claiming this 'Imagined Place'. In a global cultural environment where identities and boundaries converge, one seeks to identify with self, through people they known places they visit and memories they have constructed together in those places and with the people. These Places (Imagined), which we identified with, are defined and influenced by our history, society, and the culture of our immediate surroundings. These imagined places are assimilation of varying influences from past and present, from both East and West, where nationalities and localities intersect.

My works are primarily abstract and utilizes simple organic forms (natural and circular), while expressing complex ideas. Localism, globalism and hybridity have formed a new perspective in conceptualizing and visualizing the work and its identity.
