Biography
Frederica Antonio is renowned for her intricately painted pottery. She is the daughter of Earl and Florina Vallo. She is married to Randy Antonio and is a cousin of Melissa Antonio and a daughter-in-law of Mildred Antonio. Each piece is coil-built and then finely painted using a yucca brush. The lines are painted horizontally, then vertically, and then she fills in the squares to create the designs. Frederica has won numerous awards for her distinctive pottery at the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Heard Indian Market, and other events. You can also find her pieces in museums nationwide.
