Dolores S. Sanchez, Acoma Pueblo bowl

Dolores Sanchez learned to make pottery from her mother, Josephita Sandoval. She is the mother of noted potters Marie Juanico, Judy Lewis and Ethel Shields. She is the grandmother of Dolores Aragon, Carolyn Concho, Diane Lewis, Rebecca Lucario and Charmae Natseway. Her work can be found in museum collections including at the Heard Museum.
