Biography
Cynthia was drawn to art from a very young age. It came from watching her older sisters designing their clothes, sketching and sewing. Her father, Eustolio, an artist in his own right began his photography interest during the late 30s, during WW II and then documenting his family and friends.
Cynthia was first drawn to sewing and then began sketching and painting by the time she was 8 years.
Her interest in art continued throughout her schooling. She went on to complete her BFA in Photography and Design and MFA in Art and Design.
Cynthia's career in art education has spanned over 25 years teaching Printmaking, Photography and Drawing at the college level. Today, Cynthia continues teaching and creating art in the Hill Country outside of Austin, TX.
