Betty Quezada, Mata Ortiz jar

Betty Quintana de Quezada has been making small pots in the Quezada style for a number of years. Both her designs and her pot-forming skills have combined to produce large, reduction-fired blackware in the classical Quezada style. Betty and her husband, noe Quezada, live along the Palanganas River in Barrio Central.
