Martin Chambi (Quechua)

PHOTOquai

All of the artists below are accomplished Native American or Indigenous photographers who have been practicing in the field for at least 15 years or more. I chose just a selection of artists and works, and did not include any of the student works.

All of these images (except for the additional ones I've included by Hulleah Tsinhnahjinnie) are published in the catalogue for 'Our People, Our Land, Our Images' along with extended individual artist statements that speak to the field photography, community, and/or particular works. The exhibit itself includes 51 pieces by 26 artists and is currently on tour. It is also available for this summer if you have any interest.
